Denture Repairs & Relines

What is a Denture Reline?
A denture reline is a restorative procedure that improves the fit and comfort of your dentures. After you lose permanent teeth to extractions or trauma, the underlying gum tissue and bones break down and change shape over time. These changes affect the way that your dentures fit, increasing your risk of gum irritation and ulcers.

A denture reline adds material, like acrylic or nylon, to the parts of your dentures that make contact with your gums. This helps hold them in position, reducing friction and making activities like biting and chewing easier.

If your dentures still don’t fit well after a reline, the Custom Dentures team might recommend getting new dentures.
